LEGO Immigration Series: Detention Center set

New LEGO Immigration Series: Detention Center set confronts the brutal divide within a dual-purpose police station—where justice and injustice operate side by side. On one side, prisoner figures are housed in individual jail cells, each outfitted with bunk beds, toilets, and even a gym, reflecting a regulated system that, despite its restrictions, offers structure and rights. On the other side, undocumented immigrants are packed into a stark, oudoor space—no beds, no toilets, no privacy. They sit or lie on the bare ground under the watch of  police officers, their every move monitored. There are no walls or fences separating them—just uniforms and authority figures enforcing invisible boundaries. The imbalance is sharp and intentional. Criminals receive due process and basic dignity; migrants, many with no criminal charges, are reduced to bodies under control. By using the innocent, familiar form of LEGO, the Detention Center set delivers an unflinching critique of systemic injustice—and asks: who deserves care, and who is discarded?
