Truck for Three Illegal Passengers

 Window installation / Timelapse

Digital print on clear film and perforated vinyl

Truck for Three Illegal Passengers explores the interplay between visibility and concealment through a carefully layered installation that uses window clings and digital printing technology. By shifting between two states, the piece creates a dynamic experience: during the day, the transparent layer exposes an X-ray view of a semi-truck concealing three illegal immigrants; at night, the opaque layer returns the truck to its familiar form. This clever use of layering mirrors the dual nature of surveillance—both visible and hidden—and questions the ethical implications of invasive security practices, raising reflections on privacy, control, and freedom.
